Haliburton Renovation

This lakeside property in Haliburton features one of the largest timber houses in the county. We have undone years of disuse by restoring the log structure and overhauling the plumbing, electrical and heating systems.

The renovation maintains the original Great Hall, a beautiful room over two stories in height that is anchored by a massive fieldstone fireplace. As well, we have cleaned years of grime from the timber ceilings to allow the original pine panelling to glow. Replacement hardwood plank flooring was laid down, and energy-efficient windows as well as retrofit insulation have given the structure a new lease on life.
