Toronto Home

Renovation and Addition — Summerhill, Toronto

An Edwardian-vintage home in Toronto was brought up to date with a sparkling renovation at its core.

After gutting the interior, we planned the new design to focus on the kitchen, which has been pulled from the rear of the house and re-located to the middle of the ground floor. This is a really efficient plan because the centralized kitchen is able to cater, on one side, to the Dining Room (facing the street, through pocket doors) and, on the opposite side, to the Family Room (facing the garden). Walnut floors and walls painted the colour of a certain lady’s eyes make for an understated interior.

Fully renovated upper floors and basement all feature ensuite bathrooms and dressing rooms serving their respective bedrooms.
